I went to Brackett's Landing—the beach just south of the Edmonds ferry dock—and took a bunch of photos. (240 photos! The light was really nice there.) You don't get to see all 240 pictures, as most of them were not worth sharing. :) The following ones were, though.

1: This was the product of about 20 slightly different shots of this rock. I like how the shell balances the faintly-luminous quartz. |
3: The shadows from these barnacle-encrusted pilings point to the Edmonds ferry terminal |
4: Close-up of barnacles on a piling |

5: Close-up of barnacles on a different piling |
|
9: A small piece of sea-lettuce in the sand |
11: At the base of the ferry dock |
12: I liked this corner of water between the dock and the shore |
|
14: It was really close to sunset, so the light had this soft creamy quality |
16: Close-up of a small bolt in concrete |
|
17: Note the grains of sand in the threads |
18: Below the ferry dock, looking towards the Kitsap peninsula |
19: Amy people-watched from under the dock |
20: There were other folks at the beach, too |
