1: I had just finished packing my car when a flutter of motion caught my eye. Two tiger swallowtails were playing together barely a metre away from me. |
4: The north side of Centerville Highway |
|
5: Hydrangea blossoms in Joslyn House's garden |
6: There's a covey of California quail that live in the yard. I've been trying to get a decent photo of them for years. If you look closely, there are a few fuzzballs in the background on the right—those are chicks! They were scurrying around after the adults, just like ducklings. :) |
7: One of the ubiquitous California poppies |
8: An extension ladder in the sunlight |
|
10: Dad and I went hiking and saw lots of wildflowers. |
|
17: Flypaper: the subject of choice for all serious photographers |
20: More cookies! (More cookies is never a bad thing.) |
|
21: Not the best photo, but I liked the light |
22: Some families gather around the TV to socialize. We gather around the espresso machine. |
23: Heh. 'Good to the last drop' doesn't even begin to describe it. |
|
25: Dad, in front of his beloved espresso machine |
26: I've been trying to get a good photo of this lovely ramshackle house outside of Goldendale for years now. No luck so far. :) |
